Michelle R. Lee was born and raised in Billings, Montana.  After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Montana State University, Michelle attended law school at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.  Missing home and family, Michelle returned to Billings upon graduating with her Juris Doctorate in 2006.  Michelle joined the firm of Harper & Hilario practicing estate planning, probate, guardianships/conservatorships and Medicaid planning immediately upon returning to Billings.  In 2015, Michelle was appointed as a Municipal Court Judge for the City of Billings.  After serving the community for approximately five years, Michelle went back into private practice so that she could continue to do that which she loves, helping people plan and prepare to minimize the stress and impact of death and disability on families.
